The closing ceremony for the 10-Day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), which was conducted at the Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE) in Srinagar today, was presided over by Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), the director of the Jammu and Kashmir Enterprise Development Institute (JKEDI).

JKEDI specifically prepared the EDP for prospective female business owners, who were taught fundamental business ideas including creating marketing strategies, managing accounts, and other pertinent subjects.

Director JKEDI thanked the aspiring business owners and gave them assurances that the Institute will support them going forward. He underlined the value of technology and social media for growing a firm and urged entrepreneurs to start using these tools.

The Director also exhorted women to benefit from government initiatives and initiatives created to assist them in entrepreneurship. Certificates were given to the winners, and several of them expressed renewed confidence in beginning their own businesses. CWE, who was in charge, gave a vote of gratitude and emphasised the importance of female participation in such plans and initiatives to fight unemployment in J&K.
